My name is Nina and I live in south Germany. My learned profession is an office clerk but for now, my main job is photo model and actress. How I came to be a photo model? At the end of summer 2011, I have been started to work as foto model. It was not my own idea, my boyfriend and since August 2013 my husband has ordered a holiday photographer to do some holiday pictures of us and me.
After he saw the ready pictures, he asks me to try a registration in one of the German Model registers. I was not amused about it but I’ve tried… and what should I say? Now I have over 4000 Facebook fans and it is growing each day. I had many photo shootings in Germany and already international too. For one year I try to do my best as an actress too. I have had some acting contracts for german TV and some for advertising campaigns too. My ambition is now to be a known photo model and actress.
Describe yourself in three words. I’m not like other models, I’m not tall, I’m very petite, I have blond long hair and blue eyes
What languages do you speak? I speak German and a little bit of English but I work on my English to get the better…
How would you describe your personality? I’m not like other models. I’m very shy and quiet but I try my best. I want to help others if they need some help, I’m humorous and lovely to other people
How would you describe your style? I like to dress the most fashionable dresses at the present time. I prefer colorful and sexy dresses that accentuate my silhouette.
Can you sum up your style in three words? Modest, colorful, casual.
What’s your most memorable shoot? My best shoot was in Mexico. It was a fashion shooting for a small but exclusive clothes label.
And What kind of shoots would you like to work on in the future? In the future, I will do more advertising and commercial model jobs and will be more active as an actress.
How would you describe your professional interests? I’m interested in acting and do some commercials and acting in the music videos too.
What do you think, Is it important to attended fashion modeling courses? Do they really help newbies to get a foothold in the Fashion Industry? I think it is not necessary to attend modeling courses but I may be helpful for some beginners to start faster in this business. I don’t have visited any courses, I was self-learned and I learn each day new and try to do my best.
Is there anything you want to change about yourself? All the people I know, they say that there is nothing on my need to be changed or be better but you know, each woman has her own ideal view on herself 🙂
I try to get my belly flatter and more formed with muscles. I do a little workout each day to keep me in Form and I try to keep a healthy behavior. I do not drink, do not smoke and I try to get healthy food.
What kind of modeling are you interested in and why? My main modeling field is Lingerie and Fashion. I think that I have a good proportion of my figure to do that.
Do you have any other experience in the fashion industry (like writing photography etc.)? No, I’m just a model 🙂
Describe the atmosphere when you’re on a shoot? Usually, you will be received very warm, the atmosphere is most relaxed and it makes a lot of fun but it is not an easy job it looks like. It is a very strange job and it is normal, that you have muscle ache after each shooting.
What are your strengths? And what are your weaknesses? I can not say what are my strengths, this can say from other people if they see my possible strengths. I have many weaknesses 🙂 but I want to keep them a secret…
Describe the ideal work environment for you. I like to work in studios but a very good work environment for me is outside too if the weather is nice.
What makes a stylish lady or man? Is there a difference? There is no difference between a man or a woman. Stylish for me is all that looks good and not trashy
Who are some of your favorite fashion photographers? There are many of them. Each photographer who has an own style and does not want to copy the style of another one is my favorite.
What’s your favorite outfit from your own closet? I like my sexy cocktail and evening dresses. I like to dress me sexy so I have much of short and sexy dresses and skirts and of course much of high heels that must fit with my outfit
Do you have a favorite clothing item, and if so what is it and why? All of my clothes are my favorites. It depends on my daily mood and the occasion.
Who are some of your favorite models and designers? My greatest favorite of the models is Sylvie Meis. She is very petite like me and I like her smile.
Where do you generally like to shop? Do you shop online? If yes then tell us about your favorite shopping sites? I like to shop, like other women, shoes, dresses, and bags. Sometimes I buy online too but I like great malls to spent my time, walk around and look over the things, to try them if they fit for me and so.
What are your likes and dislikes? I have many likes, I think most of them equal to other people. My absolute dislikes are liars, aggressive and selfish people.
What’s your beauty regime? I do not have any special beauty regime. It depends on my mood and the occasion I need it for.
What’s your take on size zero? I’m very petite and I have size zero but it is my normal size. I do not like it if tall women look like skeletons. The size must fit the high, that is the rule.
Excluding all complicated beauty & fitness mantra, what do you think to be the easiest way to look pretty and glamourous? The easiest way to look pretty and glamorous is to be yourself, to get some self-respect to your body, and to stay fit and not to be fat.
Do you have a diet mantra? Tell me about the diet you follow on a daily basis? I do not do any diet plans and so. I try to eat healthy food and not too much of them, do some small and easy workouts daily to stay in my size and not be fat.
What’s your favorite healthy treat(s)? I do not have any special healthy treats. I try to keep a healthy style of life.
How do you stay fit? How much you workout? What types of exercises you do? I do some easy exercises for my belly and hips in my workout. I like to swim, I go twice a week to the sauna and do inline skating on a weekend
What according to you is the easiest way to be in shape? The easiest way for me to stay fit and to stay good in form. The healthy style of life is important too.
What’s your biggest indulgence? Oh, there is much of them 🙂
How do you enjoy your time off, away from work? What keeps you happy? I like to spend my free time with my husband and with my friends. I try to keep an active style of life. I like to have some action in my free time, I like fast cars, tasty food, luna parks, journeys and shopping of course
What are your favorite hang out spots in the city you live in (current location)? I do not have any special favorites. I try to visit all possible locations to get more variety
What is your favorite city and where do you like to hang out there? I do not have any favorite city but I like to stay in London and Paris. The cities are very exciting for me.
What magazines & weblogs you like reading? I read some Woman’s magazines to stay informed about the new trends in fashion and cosmetics
How you communicate with other netizens, especially your followers? Are you patient? polite? friendly? How often you reply to them? I use my Facebook and Twitter to communicate with my followers and netizens. I try to answer all the messages I get from my fans and followers and I’m more times a day active in the net.
How you access the Internet? What device do you use? I use any possible devices, my smartphone, my tablet, and my ultrabook. It depends on the situation what I use. At home, for example, I prefer my ultrabook on the journey I prefer to use my tablet and my smartphone is my mobile device for all other cases.
