Jala Milham: Story & Interview

Well, my name’s Jala Milham I am a 21-year-old female model. I don’t do modeling full time as I work in a fashion in-store in the city but when I’m not working in the fashion store, I do photoshoots for well know men’s magazines and interested photographers. I’ve only been modeling for just over a year now, but have had a lot of experience for such a short time. I Have been in a few different magazines 9 times and done a fair few photoshoots with some great photographers.

What does fashion actually mean to you? Fashion to me is a way to express yourself through how you look, not just by wearing the latest trends, but whatever you feel yourself in and love to wear!

What inspires your passion and what excites & motivates you about modeling? What excites and motivates me is the thrill you get from doing a shoot its hard work, but such fun, plus give you heaps of confidence!

What do you think, Is it important to attended fashion modeling courses? Myself personally I am not just directing myself on fashion shoots and I naturally know fashion and worked in fashion for a few years plus fashion comes quite naturally to me, but for someone who wanted to get into mostly the fashion side and isn’t as know-how about fashion most defiantly.

How you communicate with other netizens, especially your followers?  How often you reply to them? Of course, I always need and want to maintain a high level of professionalism with all that involved. I am always super busy with work but always reply as soon as I can, generally every day.

Has modeling changed other aspects of your life? It has made me a more happy confident person in life in general.

s there anything you dislike about modeling? No, I love it, but it can be hard at times. For example, posing after a while can put a strain on the body and make you very tired, plus making sure poses and facial expressions perfect is tough at times.

What are some things you dislike or want to change about the fashion industry? I would defiantly change the outlook it gives that you can only be pretty, thin, or tall to model as that isn’t the case in all types of modeling.

What has been your best fashion look? Well, I haven’t really done many fashion shoots I’ve done more lingerie and artic shoots.

What are your favorite types of outfits to model in? What are your least favorites? Anything sexy mostly I like. Least favorites would be just anything I’m not used to or that’s really not me but that’s part of modeling to open your mind to different types of modeling so I’ve enjoyed doing shoots even in things I didn’t like that much.

Any ultimate goal to fulfill as a model? I want to continue to get magazine work and get more well known. I would love to be on the cover of a magazine!

What kind of shoots would you like to work on in the future? More fashion and high-class magazine shoots.

Which country you are from? Tell us something about yourself, your favorite hang out spots there? Australia. I work a lot so I just love to stay at home in my spare time to relax.

What do you like to do for fun & entertainment? Just go shopping, play Playstation games and relax.

What is your perfect day, morning through to night? To wake up full of energy does a photoshoot get great pictures taken to have a fun time, then go home relax with my partner and watch a movie then fall asleep.

What’s your fashion mantra? Please describe your style? What’s your beauty regime? I love classy, tight, and sexy clothes.

Do you eat nutritiously? Is there any food which you avoid eating? Not really I just eat fruit, veg, and good meat. Still eat all of the yummy unhealthy stuff but in moderation.

 

How often do you exercise or go to the gym? Other than walking at work I don’t go to the gym or do exercise.

Excluding all complicated beauty & fitness mantra, what do you think to be the easiest way to look pretty and glamorous? Each person is very different for me, I just do my make up well and try to eat well most of the time.

Do you have any advice for other aspiring models? I’ve worked in retail fashion for near three years so that has helped me gain experience and knowledge. Just mainly the people you meet and the atmosphere at a shoot make it fun and the confidence you gain is very rewarding. Just be yourself and don’t worry about what people think to do what you love, reach for your goals. The worse thing is letting people drag you away from doing what you love or letting shame or embarrassment get in the way of your goals.

What fashion magazines & weblogs you read? I don’t read fashion magazines or go online for specific brands or sites just whatever looks nice.

Tell me about your favorites. I don’t have a favorite any of those just fav color is blue, movie Shaw hank redemption and goodwill haunting and favorite food mash potato!

How you access the Internet? What device do you use? I use a laptop at home and phone when I am out.

 

What according to you is a more convenient device for accessing the Internet? My phone is defiantly the easiest and most convenient way though.
