Courtney Marie: Story & Interview

I was born & raised in North Louisiana. I have lived in the country all of my life & grew up on a farm. I have always ridden horses & am used to working hard for anything I want. I love working on cars so I started going to races & car shows. Modeling at car shows was what really got me started. I loved it & everyone kept pushing me to keep going to where I am now. I’m very open to new ideas & trying new things so that makes it easier for me to find people to work with & get me better results. I have always been creative & big into art & tattoos & also enjoy photography as well as modeling. So I believe that has carried over into my modeling & made me better at it. Also, I have always loved traveling so I’m hoping that I’ll get more opportunities as my modeling career grows. I know when to take things seriously but also believe you should still be able to have fun at the same time. I live my life with no regrets because I can see how most everything in my life has been building up to this & helped me get where I am.

 

What inspired your passion for modeling? I was inspired to start modeling by friends of mine at car shows. They told me how good I was & pushed me forwards. I get excited when I get to work with someone new or go to a new place & love being able to get dressed up. I’m motivated to try & get the best pose & expression to create the best image possible. I love knowing that people won’t work with me & really get excited when someone says they want me to model with their custom car or truck.

What does your career do for you? Modeling makes me feel confident about myself & gives me opportunities to meet interesting new people. I also love having my picture taken because then I have more memories to look back on.

What has been your best fashion look? My best look has been the edgy rock look & country/cowgirl.

What was your biggest fashion mistake? My biggest mistake was probably when I went through my extreme punk rock phase. I didn’t pull it off right sometimes.

What’s your beauty regime? I don’t have that much of a beauty regime. I wake up, brush my teeth, wash my face, shower, moisturize, do my hair & go. Unless I’m going to wear make-up that day. At night, I brush my teeth & wash my face again & if I got dirty that day I shower again before bed. I usually just wait until morning though because it’s better for your hair & skin.

 

What are your favorite types of outfits to model in? My favorite types of outfits to model in are shorts & a tank top or crop top, short tight dresses, swimwear or pin-up & always my heels or cowgirl boots.

What are your least favorites? I don’t really like wearing long dresses in a photoshoot.

Any ultimate goal to fulfill as a model? How do you see yourself progress in this field? My ultimate goal as a model is probably to make the cover of a car-related magazine. I believe in myself & work hard so I believe I will go far.

What kind of shoots would you like to work on in the future? In the future, I would definitely like to work on shoots with more exotic cars & bikes & more pin-up style shoots. I would love to travel & do shoots all over the world though.

Would you like to tell us something about your city, your favorite hang out spots there? What do you like to do for fun & entertainment? I live in a very small town. There isn’t much to do so we kind of have to make our own fun. We usually hang out at a mechanics shop, the car wash, or Sonic. We usually fish, swim, hunt, drive around, work on our vehicles, ride horses or 4-wheelers, go mudding, or just sit around & talk. Sometimes we do random things that sound like fun or go to a bigger city that’s close & go to the movies.

Do you eat nutritiously? Tell us about the diet you follow on a regular basis? I do try to eat nutritiously for the most part. I love fruits & vegetables but I also love meats. Sometimes I don’t eat as well as I should though. I don’t really follow a daily diet for the most part but one thing I do is I don’t drink anything but water.

How often do you exercise or go to the gym, workout? I don’t really go to the gym, but I get exercise by riding horses, walking, working on my car, & dancing.

What is your perfect day, morning through to night? I’m really not sure how to explain my perfect day. I would sleep in, but not too late. Then when I got up I would eat a good breakfast. After that, there are a lot of things I could do that would make my day perfect. I could go to a car show, spend the day driving around, hang out with friends, have a really good fun photoshoot, go on a long mud ride, go canoeing around the lake, go somewhere new & explore or anything that’s fun & relaxing! I really just like to have a good time.

Excluding all complicated beauty & fitness mantra, what do you think to be the easiest way to look pretty and glamorous? The easiest way to keep looking good, is just to keep up your hygiene & take care of yourself. Find a style that you like & fits you. Do something to your hair if you need to because it looks messy, groom your eyebrows even or use some concealer & foundation to cover blemishes if you choose to. It really doesn’t take a lot if you’re happy with who you are. Anything else is just if you’re really trying to impress.

I’m kind of torn between my favorite color being red & purple, but I also really love chrome & black. They all kind of go together. I can’t say I really have a favorite film or movie, I love racing movies & westerns though. My favorite actor without a doubt is Jensen Ackles. My favorite actress would probably have to Emily Browning. I don’t have a favorite male singer, I love too many! A few of them are Chase Rice, Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean, Justin Moore, Brantley Gilbert & Luke Bryan.

I’d have to say my favorite female singer though, is either Miranda Lambert or Avril Lavigne. My favorite international music is Celtic. I don’t have a favorite food at all. I’m not a picky eater & love cooking & will eat almost anything. My favorite holiday destination would have to be Eureka Springs, Arkansas. I used to go there with my grandparents on Thanksgiving. My favorite hobby is horseback riding or drag racing. Mardi Gras is definitely my favorite festival! My favorite author is James Patterson & favorite book is Stealing Thunder.

Your ultimate message for netizens? My ultimate message is just to love who you are & never stop trying for your dreams. You have to work hard & it pays off in the end. You have to see that everything happens for a reason so when something goes wrong, keep your head up & don’t let it bring you down!
