L. Shima: Story & Interview

Thanks for having me! My name is L.Shima. I am a full time and all natural model and fashion designer based in the state of Florida in the USA. I am originally from Austin, TX however. I am 21 years old. I shoot artistic and high end urban fashion projects. My ethnicity is Japanese/Irish/Black. For a model, I am abnormally short and curvaceous. Although I am known for my looks, I hope to let people know that I very normal and work hard to have a kind and down to earth personality. I like to interact with fans and am very thankful for my success.

Le Siss: The Interview

My name is Sissel (you can also call me “Le Siss” wich is my model alias). I live in Gothenburg, Sweden and am 24 years old. During the days I work as a preschool teacher, but I also do modeling and play in my band “Human Earthquakes”.Fashion did for a long time sound like a lot of “need” in my ears – you NEED to follow all the trends which I have not been good at, and still aren’t. But now a days I take inspiration from fashion to create my own look and style. Modeling for me has never had so much to do with fashion – it has been the esthetic and creative side of it, that have had a need for expression, just as music and painting always has.

Mandy Monroe: Story & Interview

Mandy was born on May 19th, 1988, in Toronto, Ontario to a Russian/Romanian/Jewish mother, and a Chinese/Japanese/Native father. She was an individual since the day she was born, and was more like a little adult than a child. Mandy’s mother tried to put her into acting/modeling schools, but believe it or not, she was just too shy! She also attempted to put Mandy in art school because she started drawing at the age of 2 and her talents were beyond a normal child’s artistic strengths!

Starla Lost: Story & Interview

My younger self was very insecure about many things which lead to taking harsh criticism to heart. People would make fun of my appearance, my intellect, and my personality. Similar to most people, I had fantasized about proving everyone wrong. I went through a few very embarrassing years trying to discover who I was. During this time I took many “facebook selfies” in hopes that I would find just the right angle that would impress people – even those who had once thought I was ugly. At the same time, I was volunteering and creating my own business to build my character up.

Kyrie Brown: Story & Interview

I’ve always loved the camera and the spot light. My mother has told me that within hours of being born, I saw a camera and posed for it. I’ve always been that way – aware of the cameras around me, thinking about how I should look if my image does get captured. Modeling was always my natural dream, but my parents didn’t like the stereotype of a child model’s life so they didn’t submit me to agencies. Because of that, I had never solidified a passion to pursue modeling. However, at 16 I was approached by a recruiter for a modeling agency.
