Jennifer Childers Grew up in Clarksburg WV. Daughter of Joni and Lawrence Dale Childers. Has three kids who also love performing. She has dreamed of entertaining her whole life with Dancing,Acting, and Singing. When on stage performing it puts her in her own fantasy world where nothing else exists. She has been very fortunate to work with the talented Actors and Directors she has been able to work with and hopes to be able to do so much more in her future. She is working on getting more opportunities as we read this about her now, as hard as it may be to not be from a bigger city that revolves around the entertainment industry, She will not Ever give up. She is determined to always enjoy doing what she loves. Jennifer is always looking for new opportunities and someone to give her the chance of a lifetime. She is very appreciative of everything she is offered and never takes it for granted, she knows it can be taken away at any given moment and hopes to progress in her talent and her love of entertaining.
What were you doing five minutes before this interview? I am guilty, I was playing on Facebook! What made you want to pursue a modeling career instead of any other career? Well, I actually have been pursuing Acting, Modeling just happens to be a fun perk that I get asked to do through my networking for acting. 🙂
What do you feel that separates you from other models that are in the game right now? I am REAL. I have fun. I am not in competition with everyone, I just want to have fun with what I am doing a make everyone else enjoy the experience with me.
Where have you made appearances? Numerous Fashion Shows, Films such as The Dark Knight Rises, The ABC Family Musical “Love Struck”, Jack Reacher and Promised Land. I have been fortunate enough to be interviewed in Billie Blunt Fashion Magazine and just as of today I completed an interview for “Connect Clarksburg” from my hometown of Clarksburg WV!
Out of all the work you’ve done so far, which was your favorite video or photoshoot? I love all of them!! I have fun with everything that I do and I am a big dork! LOL
What projects are you currently working on? Right now I am hoping to be a part of the new film being filmed in PA that I submitted for today and hopefully I will get some good news!
When do you feel most beautiful? After having someone else do my hair and make-Up and/or when someone that it really means something to hear it from, tells me that I am beautiful.
What’s the first thing you do in the morning and the last thing you do at night? Think about my babies. Both morning and night. 🙂
What makes you laugh uncontrollably? Thinking about a moment that someone made me laugh…
What do you do to de-stress after a bad day? I am a picture freak! I love looking at pictures and taking pictures.. both help me calm down and think about memories. listening to music and dancing are what take me to another world away from my stress.
What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re with your friends? Sing, dance, and perform like I am already on the stage when we are more than likely just driving in the car.
What does fashion actually mean to you? What inspires your passion and what excites & motivates you about modeling? EVERYTHING about it! I love the colors, the materials, what went through the designer’s mind as the had the idea of making the clothing.
What do you think, Is it important to attended fashion modeling courses? Do they really help newbies to get a foothold in Fashion Industry? I think it depends. It is always good to have courses to refresh you, update you on new things, that applies to anything in life.. there is always more to learn that you did not know about before.
How you communicate with other netizens, especially your subscribers? Are you patient? polite? friendly? How often you reply to them? Anyone who supports you and contacts you are the ones who get you to where you are going. if it were not for them, you would not make it anywhere. you have to appreciate what they do for you and the fact that they care about you. you would be nowhere in your career if it were not for them.
Has modeling changed other aspects of your life? What does your career do for you? A lot of people think I am bigger than I really am. lol, My kids think I am the most famous person in the world! lol
Is there anything you dislike about modeling? other than the competition between most women and the fact that a lot od women hate on each other, no. it is a fun world to be a part of when given the opportunity. And what are some things you dislike or want to change about the fashion industry? Not a thing other than height requirements.
How you prepare yourself for a modeling shoot? singing on the way to the shoot! lol I have to have music playing while shooting. I always work best with music.
What has been your best fashion look? What was your biggest fashion mistake? My best fashion look? when someone else dresses me up and does my hair and makeup. My worst, every day of fixing myself up!
What are your favorite types of outfits to model in? What are your least favorites? The crazier, the better! I have no least favorite. it is all fun.
Any ultimate goal to fulfill as a model? How do you see yourself progress in this field? I want to have modeling open up more doors for me in the acting world. I see myself progressing more with acting due to the fact that I do not have the height requirements most are looking for in modeling.
What kind of shoots would you like to work on in the future? Any! I love all concepts!
Which country you are from? Tell us something about your city, your favorite hang out spots there? I am from The United States I grew up in Clarksburg WV. It is a small town with a lot of talent that rarely gets discovered.
What do you like to do for fun & entertainment? My world revolves around music. dancing, singing and listening to music.
What is your perfect day, morning through to night? wake up to my kids and hopefully one day a significant other who is as happy to wake up next to me as my children are to see me in the morning, spend the day with friends, my significant other and my kids doing something fun, and ending the night with Karaoke in the living room with my kids and a dance party before bed.
What’s your fashion mantra? Please describe your style? What’s your beauty regime? I love heels! anything that involves me dressing up makes me happy. I love boots! I do not have much of a beauty regime, I am kind of lazy when it comes to that.
Do you eat nutritiously? Tell us about the diet you follow on a regular basis? Is there any food which you avoid eating? I am a fruitaholic. I love fruit. I for the most part normally eat healthily. but every once in a while I indulge. I do not like seafood though.
How often do you exercise or go to the gym? How much time do you spend there? My exercise is dance.
Excluding all complicated beauty & fitness mantra, what do you think to be the easiest way to look pretty and glamorous? Feel good about yourself, have someone in your life who makes you feel good about yourself and you will always look pretty because of your confidence. if you are not confident in yourself, it shows and confidence is beautiful.
