Hello, my model alias is Helena Asgard. I am a student at the Faculty of Health Studies in Croatia, in my free time working as an alternative model. Modeling was actually not something that I was thinking about, it just happened. I went to a concert of my favorite Croatian band Kryn, enjoying the music, dancing, and the women came to me and said she represents a company that has a photographic project I would be perfect for. So I went there, I did it, and I liked it, and finally continued with it, and now I’m here 🙂
Describe yourself in three words? Open-minded, friendly, different:)
What languages do you speak? Croatian, English, Italian, German, modern Greek, Slovenian. And also Serbian & Bosnian hehe 🙂
How would you describe your personality? Honest, emotional, relaxed.
How would you describe your style? I would say I have my own style. It is a combination of everything, I couldn’t exactly define. Also, it depends on how I feel at the moment.
Can you sum up your style in three words? Combinations, dark-glam, interesting
What’s your most memorable shoot? And What kind of shoots would you like to work on in the future? I love art, and the human body is a great piece of it, I believe it should be shown and expressed in the ways you want. That’s why each shooting is special to me. Through modeling I can be everything that I am not in reality 🙂 I am interested for everything except complete nudity, from glamour to macabre, so I hope the future brings a lot of different things 🙂
How would you describe your professional interests? I hope to earn new experiences with more photographers and other models to learn from 🙂
What do you think, Is it important to attended fashion modeling courses? Do they really help newbies to get a foothold in the Fashion Industry? Well, I think it depends. It can help but it’s not a condition. As in everything, there are people that can easily catch what they suppose to, others must try harder 🙂
Is there anything you want to change about yourself, what are they? I like all my good and also bad sides, hahaha 🙂
What kind of modeling are you interested in and why? As I’ve said fashion gives me an opportunity to express myself in different ways, so I am opened to almost everything.
Do you have any other experience in the fashion industry (like writing photography etc.)? I like to be behind the camera too, catching all the interesting moments while random walking on the street for example. But it is just a hobby, at least for now 🙂
Describe the atmosphere when you’re on a shoot? It is always interesting, you are waiting to see how you will look in the end 🙂 Each time you’re different 🙂 Usually, everybody is in rush trying to do it’s part of the job the best. And sometimes the shootings can be very exhausting… people say “oh what, you just stay there and moving around on each click-click” hahaha, but it is much more. A lot of times it is not that easy, but, as in any other job, if you do it with a passion you enjoy in everything:)
Do you have any limitations? Yes, I don’t do nudity.
What are your strengths? And what are your weaknesses? Strengths… I’m responsible, persistent… I have a good ability to transform, I like to learn new things, I can work in a team without a problem… Weaknesses… sometimes I’m lazy.. And I eat too much so I have to exercise to stay in a good shape hahaha.
Describe the ideal work environment for you? When we have enough time to do everything without a rush, and also when everybody respects rules and agreements.
What makes a stylish lady or man? Is there a difference? No difference, just be yourself 🙂
Who are some of your favorite fashion photographers? Vladimir Tankovic, Stephany Stefan, Mert & Markus, Starkall
Do you have a favorite clothing item, and if so what is it and why? Leggings & oversized shirt 🙂 It always feels comfortable 🙂
Where do you generally like to shop? I am not a typical woman hahaha when it’s about shopping. I can’t spend hours going around and shopping, it nerves me 🙂 Sometimes while random walking I see something interesting and then I buy it. If I want something specific I find it on the internet 🙂
What are your likes and dislikes? I like enjoying in life, reading books, good music, art, science, food, traveling :))) And I dislike self-centered, false/dishonest people, traffic, getting sick, people that are mean to their children.
What’s your beauty regime? A lot of food and beer and some exercise hahaha.
Do you have a diet mantra? Tell me about the diet you follow on a daily basis? I actually eat a lot, thanx to good genes I can do it :))) But when I see I overreacted I just reduce carbohydrates
Is there anything you avoid eating? Beans
How do you stay fit? How much you workout? What types of exercises you do? 2-3-4 times per week depends on how much time I have. Jogging, walking, cycling, gym.. anything is better than nothing :)) I like martial arts also, or going to a shooting range 🙂
What according to you is the easiest way to be in shape? Find any physical activity that you enjoy in and let it be a part of your life, don’t take it as something that you have to do, as an obligatory.
How do you enjoy your time off, away from work? What keeps you happy? I like to be alone… or to spend time just with the closest people.
What is your favorite city and where do you like to hang out there? I like Nordic countries generally 🙂
How you communicate with other netizens, especially your followers? Are you patient? polite? friendly? How often you reply to them? I am trying to be friendly, patient and polite as much as I can, and also to reply to each of them, yes 🙂
How you access the Internet? What device do you use: Is it a tablet/smartphone or laptop? Smartphone, or laptop – if I’m home. The smartphone is great because I can be online much more than I would be without.
